Will your diamond

do good?

responsible sourcing diamonds ethically sourced

An Open Letter from Steve Samaras of Zachary’s Jewelers…

People often ask about the diamonds we sell. Are they Ethically Sourced? Are they environmentally friendly? Are they socially responsible?

That’s why we are proud to carry Forevermark Diamonds. While we only carry diamonds we know did no harm, Forevermark through their efforts with DeBeers take it a step further. We believe that Forevermark diamonds do good in the world.

Forevermark diamonds are

responsibly sourced.

  1. They come from mines in countries that comply with strict political, financial, social and environmental requirements.

  2. They set aside six acres of land for preservation for every one acre mined.

  3. They offer scholarships and grants to women and children in the communities in which they mine.

  4. Through a project called “Moving Giants,” they are working to solve the over-population crisis in Botswana, by moving entire elephant families to areas that need elephants in their eco-system.

  5. They aim to be 100% carbon neutral someday!

Further, they are absolutely beautiful…and rare. Less than 1% of the world’s diamonds are worthy of the Forevermark inscription. This inscription, each with a unique identification number, is 1/5000th the width of a human hair and invisible to the naked eye.

When you select your perfect Forevermark diamond at Zachary’s, you’re getting much more. A diamond that does good. A diamond you can truly be proud of!

I invite you to come in and let me show you what makes a Forevermark diamond that special.

I think you’ll agree.
