This Return Policy applies to purchases made from Zachary’s Jewelers, whether online or in-store. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Return Eligibility
Online Purchases
Items purchased online may be returned within 30 days of the ship date for:
- Full refund
- Exchange
- Store credit
- Gift card
To be eligible:
- Item must be in original, unworn condition
- Item must include original packaging
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for:
- Full refund
- Exchange
- Store credit
- Gift card
To be eligible:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must include original packaging
- Receipt or proof of purchase is required
- Worn, adjusted, or damaged items are not eligible
- Timepieces must have all protective stickers intact
- Refunds must be issued to the original form of payment
2. Holiday Return Policy
Purchases made beginning November 18 may be returned through January 24 of the following year.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for refund or exchange:
- Custom-designed items
- Special orders
- Personalized or engraved merchandise
- Sized or otherwise altered items
- Timepieces that have been sized
- Any item marked “Final Sale”
4. Certified Diamonds
Certified diamonds (loose or mounted) must be returned with the original laboratory grading report.
If the report is not included, a $150 replacement fee will be charged.
5. Order Cancellations
If a made-to-order, special order, or custom-designed item is still in production and has not yet been delivered:
- The order may be canceled
- A store credit will be issued
6. Exceptions and Partial Refunds
In certain situations, partial refunds or store credit may be granted at management discretion.
Examples include:
- Items not returned in original condition
- Items returned more than 30 days after delivery
7. Online Returns Process
To initiate a return for an online order:

Return options:
- Ship the item back (after arranging in advance), or
- Return the item to a Zachary’s Jewelers location
Notes:
- No restocking fee will be charged for accepted returns
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was sent in error
8. Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- If a return label is provided, the cost will be deducted from the refund or applied toward an exchange

9. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- You will be notified by email regarding approval or rejection
Approved refunds may be issued to:
- Original method of payment, or
- Store credit
Please allow 3 to 5 business days after receipt for processing.
Refund timing may vary depending on your financial institution.
10. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund:
- Check your bank account
- Contact your credit card company or bank

11. Store Credits
Store credits are issued as either:
- In-store credit, or
- Online gift card
These are not interchangeable. Please specify how you intend to use your credit.
12. Gift Cards
- Gift cards do not expire
- Gift cards are non-refundable
13. Right to Refuse Returns
Zachary’s Jewelers reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not meet the requirements outlined in this policy.
Any exceptions:
- Are made at management discretion
- Are based solely on the item’s resale viability
- Are never determined by discriminatory practices
14. Pricing and Availability Disclaimer
We strive to ensure all pricing, promotions, product descriptions, and availability are accurate. However, these are subject to correction without prior notice.
15. Governing Law
This Return Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
