A Holiday Story Comes to Life at Zachary’s
Sunday, November 29, 2026 • 4:00–5:30 p.m.
Some holiday memories begin with a story. Join us at Zachary’s Jewelers as we bring families together for an Annapolis tradition inspired by the wonder of The Nutcracker.
Our afternoon begins inside the store, where children can gather for a telling of this beloved holiday tale while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies.
Families who register in advance will receive a complimentary nutcracker doll for each child attending, a special keepsake to carry the celebration home. Any remaining nutcrackers will be given away during the event on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
At 4:30 p.m., we’ll step outside as the Chesapeake Ballet Company brings the story to life beneath the holiday lights. Share in your children’s excitement as they watch the dancers perform. Before and after the ballet, children can meet the dancers, pose for photos, and enjoy a moment with their favorite characters.
The celebration is part of Annapolis’ Grand Illumination Celebration, bringing our community together for the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree and the start of the holiday season.
Whether this is your family’s first visit or a tradition you return to each year, we look forward to sharing an afternoon of wonder, connection, and holiday cheer.
RSVP today and let the season’s memories begin at Zachary’s.
