Design Contest
Illustrate a unique jewelry design that shows why your mom or caregiver is special to you. Three winning designs will be made into real jewelry pieces for your mom or caregiver!

Each year, our panel of judges votes on the winning entries based on creativity, an original handwritten story, and if the piece is able to be made to closely represent the design.

Zachary’s Jewelers is proud to celebrate the creativity, imagination, and heartfelt stories of local 5th grade students through our Mother’s Day Jewelry Design Contest. As longtime supporters of our local schools, we look forward to this meaningful tradition and the joy it brings to students, families, teachers, and the special moms and caregivers being honored.
All 5th grade students are invited to create an original jewelry design inspired by a special mom or caregiver in their lives. Three winning designs will be selected and brought to life by our jeweler as one-of-a-kind pieces to be gifted in time for Mother’s Day.
Semi-finalists, families, and teachers will be invited to a special celebration at our Main Street location, where the winning students and their finished jewelry pieces will be revealed.
Official contest materials, submission details, and entry deadlines will be shared with participating schools when the contest opens. We encourage teachers to share the information with their students and invite them to send their most thoughtful, creative ideas our way.
In addition, Zachary’s Jewelers will award $500 to the art departments of the winning students’ schools in support of continued creativity in the classroom.
We look forward to seeing the beautiful designs and stories from this year’s students.
